Well, like the title said my question is : Does the 05 and 07 Supercharged SS PCM are the same?

Can I do a change for change with a 05 (I have a 07)? Because I'm selling my GM StageII kit and I would exange everything with.

no. 05-06 pcm is 16bit, 07 is 32bit. it will not work

 

dealer should be able to reflash it, or find someone with HPT

 

Dealer can not flash him with a stage 2 file unless he purchased a new kit with a tune code

 

so 05 an 06 would work?

 

Yes but the fuel gauge will read backwards. Empty is full and full is empty. I am not joking lol

 

correct I experienced this first hand. First car ever to make its own gas as you drive.

 

So, My car had a StageII, can I run my car (now back to stock) with the preview programmation? Does it wil setup automatically? Or the dealer must reflash it to the original setup?

If I did an exchange with a buddy of me, the dealer can't programm it to him because it's not a brandnew setup? Right? (If I read correctly...) If not, what is the PCM modification do it have to be done on his 06 SS ?
