07 Spark plug gap

Is the gap for the 07 SS/SC supposed to be .40?When i changed my plugs to the NGK's i checked the gap on the stockers and they were gapped at .35.

By the way the car ran alot better with the NGK's.

it's .035, and that seems a little small. i know my car likes to be at .037, not sure about the 07's though.
