15lbs on 2.8?

ok i have the 2.8 pulley on and i have a full exhaust just wondering if the exhaust lowers the amout of boost you see or i have a problem

when in second gear the car boost really fast till about the 15 and then it kinda feels like it isnt pulling anymore at all.. can there be something causing this like something interal or something else

hmmm..u MIGHT have a broken spring inside the boost gauge....thats wat mine did when it had s2...and all of a sudden it would boost past 10psi...and 2 days later i turn the car off and boost guage is still reading 10psi...had to warrantyed and now it hit 15psi by 4000-5000k and 17.5 by redline

autometer is one of the cheaper, but good gauges...if u want some accurate gauge go buy a defi..300+ for the gauge and another 200 for the controller...

i remember on my srt when i had the stock gauge, after i installed the big turbo the gauge was acting all weird and **** since the spring inside the gauge went crazy cuz boost was goin faster than the spring can actually keep up,so after time i only saw 12psi on a big turbo..was kinda funny

header, downpipe, and cat all provide better flow which will mean lower PSI

PSI is just a measure of the compressed air at your manifold, if you have exhaust mods you will have less back pressure there for less psi but more HP

^ your welcome

you actually want to limit your PSI by way of exhausting mods.... more air in = good

more air in and even more air out = excellent
