2.0 lsj spark plugs
And for the love of god dont cross thread them. The best way to not cross thread plugs is to.
1. Insert Plug into plug socket (the rubber in the socket will hold it in, if it doesnt, you either dont have a plug socket, or yours is junk and needs to be replaced).
B. Insert plug, plug socket, and extension into plug well (this is one piece)
III. Turn the plug in the loose (left, counter clockwise) direction lightly, you will feel the plug drop just a tiny bit. Go around a few times to make sure you got the right feeling.
4. Then tighten the plug in by hand.
E. Use a torque wrench to torque the plug to spec, lacking a torque wrench (I can understand they're over 100 dollars for any one worth buying) that just go one 1/4 turn passed hand tight.

I wouldn't trust it. I had a tranny apart in the shop. Putting it back together I had 2 6mm bolts that needed 12 ftlb for the reverse derailer bracket inside the case. That not even close to tty for 6mm, just as the wrench clicked it sheared the bolt off inside. Yeah that sucked.
also as far as torque wrenches go im going to be doing alot of work and should torque stuff right you know
how about this one
Amazon.com: Brown Line Metal Works BLD0212 Digital Torque Wrench: Automotive
anyone know of any better ones? im looking to spend less than $100
also what size is the socket for our oil filter cover

no offense but if you just buy plugs and ASSUME they will be a certain gap you are a moron.
2nd, if you aren't even willing to gap spark plugs, i would definatley not recommend taking struts off.
3rd, you get what you pay for with tq wrenches most the time. i buy craftsman..if it breaks they replace it no questions asked also.

true i get your point but doesnt really help me i mean CED has some good stuff so im assuming they would be what they say and how much does the spark plug spacer cost? i think i could figure it out
just always assumed they were more plug and play
bumpage with my other questions though
anyone have a comment on just buying the sparkplugs from ced and trusting them?

also you know the size of the oil filter cap? 1 1/4" ??

Plugs, they get dropped during shopping, the gap will change.
I can't remember the plug socket size, I normally go yo my tool box and stick the plug info all of them until it fits. I want to say 19mm
Oil filter socket is 34mm.

Might as well just go 1/4 turn.
Also, whoever posted Craftsman - their torque wrenches aren't great and they AREN'T lifetime warranty. The only lifetime warranty you'll find on a torque wrench will be on a $35 parts store wrench - stay FAR away from these.
^^ never said they were lifetime said they would replace them for free, it's actually a year on the tq wrenches excl digital ones just fyi.
spark plug gap tool is like a dollar go to autozone and look for them on the counter

The plugs from crate engine depot are the factory replacement plugs. They come pregapped at 0.035". I even provided you the link for them so you pick the right ones.
I have the plugs from CED in my car. They are the exact plug that came in my car from the factory.

I assumed you were talking indefinitely. I can't remember if they have a calibration warranty or if that's a todoor warranty.

-Make sure to put some anti seize on them
-Hand start them first to avoid cross threading them
-Torque to spec

Yes, I run the same plugs, but at a smaller gap. I'm flowing a good deal more air than a GM Stage 2 car
You can get a quality, cheap plug socket at Advance - Gearwrench (a.k.a. Chinese Matco)
Quality insert with a lifetime warranty. You've really lucked out if you found one that was made in Taiwan, but don't make it a priority to check.

Just swapped my plugs for the first time on my 07 ss. To my surprise the stock plugs that were in their were the NGK's. I replaced them with AC Delco 41 -106 from CED and gapped them to .038. Working good.
Thanks staged07ss for the advice
