2.0 trans ?

I was wondering if anybody knows what our trans is rated for? I know there is a guy on here that has gone through like 5 of them....

I am sure it is some low number. But you can't really go by that. There are 11 sec Sunfires and Cavys that are still using bone stock transmissions.

Not to mention there are plenty of people with blower swaps and Turbo swaps that are making close to 400hp now, while still on their stock trans.

IMO these are stout trannys. If your on a 5th trans, then the problem is the driver.

I believe they are rated to something like 258 lbs/torque. Like stated though, the driver has a huge effect on it.

yeah man, as long as I don't WOT shift it, it still holds fine... but fast shifting = massive slip. I have the exedy hyper chillin in my closet, just waiting to install it when it gets a bit warmer
