I dont know how they did it with this kit,but..On the solstice forum, they welded a fitting on it,and attached the brake booster vacuum hose to it.That was a pretty good idea.
i just changed my oil filter not even a month ago....but it looks like ill probably have to take it off to change it. im not sure yet. ill take pictures of **** today.

its all custom

2500 for all charge piping and full 3" stainless exhaust and clutch and axle install (also included heat wrapping and oil lines)
400 for turbo brand new
150 for wastegate brand new
50 for BOV rfl knockoff from ebay
50 for boost controller used
100+ misc flanges ebay

So under 4k to get the turbo kit designed and put on. But the mechanic said if he would do it again hed charge a lot more (another grand or so) because of the complexity of side mounting the turbo since it wouldnt fit behind the motor. When he originally quoted it we were mounting it behind the block and he stuck to his quote for me cause i took care of him.

If u used a smaller turbo thatd fit behind the block i see no reason y u couldnt come in under 4k....I technically did...but my turbo is way cheaper then most other turbos ur gonna find.

the other stuff like the eletronic cutout, axles, exedy, gauges cost a lot tho

What did you use for a header? And what size turbo are you running? Ball Bearing? I ask because I want to start putting my own kit together. Also did you run the charge piping to the stock aftercooler, and how easy was it to tune with hpt? Feel free to PM me.

Header is a custom 4-2-1 unequal length manifold i had made. Turbo is a Holset WH1C aka HX35 converted from internal wastegate to external wastegate. Non ball bearing...Its old school. Charge piping goes from turbo outlet into the stock gutted s/c and uses the stock liquid to air intercooler. Bov is before the MAF and the MAF is blow thru. Having some HPT tuning difficulties but I hope to get em worked out soon.

Pics and crap here:
