The 2.0 Upgrade list
Hey guys, I was hoping you can give me a list of items available specifically for the LSJ and roughly the cost...I'm looking to do some upgrades, but limited on funds currently and would still like to do things in the correct order...
I'm planning on getting GM stage 2 at some time, but might go for something more.....
What would be the best place to start right now? Intake? Exhaust? Bushings? Clutch? other?
And what would be a logical order to do these things?
Thanks all

uhh .. search. there arent enough options out for the car to get confused. look at what the vendors offer. Standard car upgrades still apply to the 2.0.. cant really do things in the wrong order with the car.
but if had to suggest. u can switch around practically anything. i have a aem filter and am getting the stage 1 and pulley and then clutch
CAI
Catback
Header and downpipe
Stage 1 and smaller pulley or Stage 2
Clutch
FLywheel (good 2 get at same time as clutch bc the tranny is already being dropped)
something to cure wheel hop (transmission mount or control arm bushing)
EBC green stuff brake pads
thats the basic stuff.. then you get into the more advanced stuff-but your limited on funds just like me so u probably wont go there.. just as i wont
cams
nitrous
porting
dont forget other non performance mods
practice driving "driver mod"
raptor shift light
suspension modifications
big brake kits
strut bars
valve cover & injector cover
the almighty tints
just my own ideas

that's what these forums and threads are here for. look around under your particular motor section (2.0, 2.2, 2.4) and read through the threads to see what people are doing. then there is a vendor section of all our sponsored vendors that sell parts for our cars.

intake & exhaust .clutch is a must(and a lightweight flywheel)it will already be apart so why not?I have the big brake kit from ssbc (wow) these are also great. The handling part could wait a little, unless u run at the track alot. The carv comes with decent setup stock.Nitrous is always fun& safe(when used the correct way) and if u have some extra money invest in a progressive control unit for the spray(saves the car ,and money)then spend some time on the dnyo to properly tune it.
