2.5 or 3.0 exhaust?

what's the best sounding exhaust system that's a 2.5 and 3.0 full catback

kinda heard slp was alittle raspy and annoying wondering if theres something out there with a growl and not a farty noise and what kinda horsepower can a 2.5 run. I know the 3.0' can run over 250+

Best sounding 2.5" catback is by far the Corsa Touring. Not just because I have it. It just is, haha.

Best sounding 3.0" catback would prob. be the Hahn.

never heard of corsa who sells em at best price. now what's the negative affect if i don't get a 3' over a 2.5' exhaust anything major?

Looking at TTR.com they got variety of brands just expensive as hell for a exhaust

well zzp has a 3' exhaust which 450 ain't bad now do i need a resonator(muffler?) or is that optional. Sound better or worse with or without one. plus i was thinking of the 3' downpipe to go with all from zzp or could i do better in sound. I just don't wanna sound like a honda,im kinda fond of how the SRT-4's have a natural purr. so if n e one got some good incentive throw it at me

with a sc cobalt your not going to get the srt sound so scratch that. if you go 3" you WILL need a resornator. just get the hahn, its alot of $$ but you wont touch it agian. i spent $1000 in exhaust set-ups and if i could do it again i would get the hahn catback.
ottp.com has a cti 3"dp thats very good.

seeing as you're stock right now. if you plan on staying on the stock pulley, go 2.5". if you plan on modding it and going 2.9 or lower, get a 3"

Eventually i want to get a 2.8 and go meth. lots said E85 blows i have the ability to get it here in Illinois but idk. but i was wondering how would a 3' full exhaust on a 2.8 pulley and a 3' DP w/o cat would sound?

im mostly gonna be ordering within this month OTTP stage 2 w/extras or ZZP stage 3 kit when i get alittle spending cash. got around 1g so but i was curious to see if i could get some partially used items for cheaper

but a good 450-600 for an exhaust is what i'd be looking for and mabey 500 in engine upgrades

Here's another point i was recently at a car show saw a 2005+ mustang with a blower on it. Guy started it up and the charger was wistling loud and sounded raw as **** if i were to down my pulley with my charger sound nearly as mean or cause im a 4 it's weak. dude had a whipple so mabey it's in the charger

now why is a header so damn expensive it seems to not do as much as it should. Does it change the tone of the exhaust cause horsepower wise i know it's between 5-15hp or something along that lines

ok i saw it, if you told him to go 3", why was it necessary to say its not the best performing on a stock car if you know he's modding?

because he didn't say he was modding till after i posted that. and i said he SHOULD go with a 3" if he's modding. i said he should stick with 2.5" if he is staying stock. reread it, again.

GMPP Touring is awesome if you're only intested in sound..

It seems to act like putting a cork in the exhaust when you bolt a tvs on though incase you're wondering..LOL

just do hahn.....if the car stays stock he loses a lil low end torque so what..in the end he gains more top end. if you ask me thats better anyway because on the sc balts they spin too damn much off the line of you dont have good peddle control.
