You will notice some gains .... nothing huge. Actually, no one on this site has ever dynoed after installing a downpipe so theres no number anyone can give you.

Not yet, but if I had to guess the car is in the 270 whp range on 93 octane, prob. a little higher on 100 octane. My car put down 256 whp on the M62 with the mods in my sig excluding the Injen intake (used to be AEM), Corsa catback (used to be stock catback + GMPP Touring muffler), & OTTP-HE. The only shop with a dyno in my area went out of business. I'm waiting until the weather cools down a bit, and taking a ride out to the next closest dyno to see what the car is making.

The H62 made a nice difference over the M62. Pulls a good deal harder throughout the rpm band. I love it !!

Get an O2 elminator, and you wont have to worry about throwing a cat code. If no code is present you will pass inspection.

Once again .... if no code is present you will pass emissions. PA has emission tests as well. I used to have the ZZP 3" downpipe, and passed with no problem.

As long as you buy the catted version you shouldnt have any issues.

Do any of you guys live in a state where they do sniffer tests? Just curious who's doing them. They don't do them in NC, SC, GA, or Fl... so if you live in any of these states and want to run a catless DP, you'll just need to have it tuned out.

Only 3 (on record) were ever produced by Eaton. They were prototype blowers, and never made it to production cars. My H62 differs from the M62 in a few ways. The rotors of the H62 are twisted 120 degrees (high helix rotors) vs. the 60 degree twist rotors of the M62, and the outlet housing is ported. I have some pictures of my H62 in my images check it out. You will see the difference in my side to side shot of my H62 & production M62.

Yes, you will get a code with a catless downpipe unless you get the code tuned out, or use an angled o2 eliminator.

It will run fine. The cat code does not alter the cars drivability. You can find them on E-bay.

Try CEL Eliminator, Angled O2 Eliminator ....

http://cgi.ebay.com/Universal-Mechan...item45f3c612ee

^ It will look like this, but you need to search for one that is angled, or is bent at 90* angle or it wont fit between the downpipe & heatshield.

No one can tell you how much you will gain, because like I said no one on this site does comparrison dynos of each new mod they add to their car. You should have bought a 3" downpipe from the beginning though. 2.5" is a tad to small for the LSJ. 3" is much better if you are going to switch out the stock downpipe. The stocker is 2.785" O.D. Yes, it has the 02 dimple, but believe me it isnt going to restrict any noticable amount of flow.
