2.5 inch magnaflow catalytic converter

Would a 2.5 inch catalytic converter gain hp? If so how much? And also would it make the car a bit louder?

not sure, but If it were to make our exhaust note louder than yes you probably gained top end hp

It's $70 from magnaflow on modernperformance.com So i don't think I'll get it. I can always get it later on though if I want.

DOnt get it....our Cat is pretty race like to begin with, it would be an illegal swap for very little effect if any.
