Question 2.5 pulley

what are the suppoting mods required to run a 2.5 pulley WITHOUT doing stage kits??

DAMN good tune, and I mean DAMN good tone...

well we already have the Methanol Inj. and soon to have 60# injectors but yea i was thinking a 2.7 pulley instead. what all would i need for that? sorry for all the noob ?'s im still learning.

Cooling mods are your friend. A 2.5 is retarded. Buy the GM stage 2 & 3 and run a 50 shot... you'll go a lot faster that way than with a 2.5" Pulley.

you need to either machine the snout or get a machined snout. Then get the stg2 belt and oversized tensioner i believe, 60's, a good tune, and you should be set. You will see a huge difference with a full 2.5 or 3" exhaust. Its really a toss up between the two, really depends where you want your max torque to be. Should make some good power tho. Good luck!

an SRT4 friend of mine is also going to port the supercharger and intake manifold. im sure that would help out.

Depends on how long you plan on keeping the car or keeping the blower. All the locals here have been running 2.5 pulley's for well over a year.

Also depends if ya beat on the car or not. Most people around here are running the bare minimum. 2.5" pulley, injectors, tune. No intake or exhaust. They are doing fine.

You will need:
Pulley Puller
2.5 Pulley + Hub
Snout Machine Tool
Injectors + Harness
Over sized Tensioner
Tune (Intense Racing tune not recommended unless using stock airbox)
