a 2.8 is the most efficient on our superchargers but you can go to a 2.7 with meth injection no problem...a 2.6 is even sufficient with meth alone...however a h/e would be a nice compliment

yeah, i wouldn't go past 2.8 IMO, 2.7 will produce more heat, with meth injection it may help a lot to cool, but you're still going to reduce the life of your supercharger that much more. Plus i've also heard about rotor growth on the smaller pulleys, where the rotors spin so fast with so much heat that the tolerance lessens and they scrap eachother causing the coating to come off and the supercharger to become even less efficient.

Am I the only one that noticed this thread is in the wrong forum!?!? How the hell does this qualify as "ADVANCED performance"!?!? Seriously, this forum was made to get away from the pollution of threads like this that could be avoided by simply using the search button!

I'm sure 2.7 is fine, but why drop 1 size pulley.. how much power do you expect to gain.. I don't know the numbers thats why i'm asking

You're good but I don't think you will see any gains from it.

you will see gains or everyone would be at a 2.8 and not a 2.7. with the meth you are fine, but i def. recommend getting a h/e. both of them offer great cooling; dont waste your money on the dual pass. ive heard it doesnt do much at all

na, the dual pass works great with the extra h/e. The dual pass by itself is not too much of a gain.

look out for the hardass. i love how opinionated people are.

but as for running a 2.7. i am ordering one in a week or two. it won't go on for a while though. i am gonna save up for a few weeks and buy a dual pass. plus i need a wideband so that when i get retuned it'll be perfect.

don't take it personally, it is a pain in the ass to install so that's why most don't do it. And the ones who have done it, I have no idea why they don't add a second h/e.

when i took off my supercharger i saw the stock one. it seemed pretty easy to get at IF you take off the supercharger. Once you know how to, it takes mayb 10 minutes to take off the supercharger.

I have had mine for a year now, no problems. I did notice when i ported my blower, that some of the coating was coming off. My brother has a 3" at the time and some of his coating was coming off to. So, i dont know what that means to you.
