2.7 worth it?

im getting the ott stage kit and meth...is it worth it to drop down to a 2.7? how much more hps would i be making? i want it to be moderately safe and i know its up to the t00n but i just want to make sure a 2.7 would be alright.

Get meth, and all other cooling mods... and yes the torque increase is worth it!

It wasn't as big a drop for me, comming from a 2.8 but from stock or 2.9 it's a HUGE difference and with you being generally close to Area47 you're golden for tuning!

I myself as well as Area47 run the standard on/off type meth kit. Less to go wrong with them!

dont get the boost activated progressive kits... they do have issues. Maf based are much easier.

personally i didnt get more than 3 whp/tq from a 3.0 to a 2.8 due to the timing drop.

stock to 3.0 or 2.8 is a big jump though.

Yes slowly increases the meth spray. Vs. just on and off.

I have 113* IAT2's after a 1-4 WOT pulls! with a 60/40 meth/water mix

Its Safe... it would allow for more power through advancing but less cooling effect.

Windshield wiper fluid is a mix of Meth and Water... i think its 70 water and 30 meth.. you MUST use the -20* stuff..

You buy a product called "heet" (black can) and you mix 2 of those in with a gallon of wiper fluid for iirc a 60meth 40water mix.

You have to figure what you are using it for. I am using it for the little added octane but because with a 2.7 ring on their your gonna be getting really HOT!

90/10 is okay but I would only do that for track days or something like that... not for everyday driving!

Troof! I use -20* washer fluid and HEET mixtures (YELLOW bottles).

1 bottle of heet per gallon of -20* washer fluid makes in a roundabout way a 60/40 mix

well i was gonna add another cooling mod, something to do with a reservoir, its being explained to me on the "gotta beat that hemi thread" and i will have a dual pass h/e for added cooling on top of the other mods
