2.8, 60# can i drive?

So im getting a 2.8 pulley, 60#'s, stage 2 belt and all that jazz. My stupid question is after this is all installed is there any way to drive it to be tuned at all? I dont want to pay the shop to put it all on but i don't want to screw up my car.

I would highly reccomend that you dont drive it like that. You could always get to the shop a bit early and put it together.

it really isn't smart to drive down to a shop with that setup. Too many things could go wrong with a much smaller pulley than stock and higher capacity fuel injectors.

AAA will tow it, but usually after 5 miles, it is 8 dollars a mile so $120. do you have a friend with a truck? U-haul rents trailer dolly's for $30 and you could tow it there yourself

If you dont already have a hub on there, it will not be easy to change the pully there. And im guessing by you getting a stage 2 belt, that you still have the stock pully. Pully puller FTL
