i only hit 15 with mine but it is because i have exhaust so there is less resistance.

do u feel a loss of power? boost is a measurment of restriction. so higher boost dosnt always mean more power.

lawl your idc's are def over 100% and you lost a psi of boost woo hoo pressure changes from day to day weather changes conditions change etc etc etc.

sounds like youre blower is starting to wear and clearances are starting to get a bit loose and since it doesnt seal as well its not able to hold as much boost.

pretty sure he could have the fuel pressure turned up which effectively lowers duty cycle and generally makes the pattern better.

You live in Wyoming where it is at least a mile high in most places. You say you boosted 16 psi on the stage 2 kit but only 15 on stage 3 with a 2.8. Was it really hot when you noticed the change?

well the temps were around 50-65*f so i guess that could of made it change like that. i've always had a 2.8. stage 2 is injectors and pulley, stage 3 is with a HE

1. Wyoming is 4000ft+ above sea level. A 2.8" pulley would very likely be at lower IDC at those altitudes, especially if running a leaner tune than GM stage 2.

2. How long have you had stage 2? Have you had it during hot weather yet? The hot air is much less dense and you can see much lower boost levels.

1. ya this is why i always get into an argument over my IDC.
2. not yet, its been around 80*F so far, but i just got my new clutch so i cant really see what she will do now.......200 more miles, actually does anyone now how long it takes to break in the gm staged clutch? when i first started to drive it, it sucked. now it feels freaking awsome, so im wondering if its all ready broken in. i was going to baby it untill i hit about 500

and i love the clutch holds so much better than stock.
I never noticed this until i drove my friends stock ss/sc but its considerably harder than a stock clutch.

sweet, ya i cant wait to see what it really feels like at WOT. i ended up cracking my tranny case, so the dealership ended up putting a new tranny with LSD since i already had that. then GM wheel hop kit, and then my clutch i only had to pay for the clutch and parts and 1 hour of labor. it was like 504.00, i really cant belive they did that for me ..........dam wheel hop lol

You should usually break in a clutch about 500 miles.

bump up your injectors to 60# you'll notice higher psi.
