i think it goes,
pump to intake mani
intake mani to stock h/e
stock to cobra
cobra to pump
and its not cooling that people are talking about its your injectors overdoing themselves to keep the car not run lean i think it is

i've ran the set up for a while, and recently my car starts breaking up at high rpms. i am staying out of the 6krpm and up zone untill i can get my 60#injectors and tune from new era performance
i dont think the problem is running lean, i think its that the injectors go static and get stuck in the open or closed postion and will cause a misfire. but thats my opinion

i have a log of a straight stage 2, 2.8. intake.
i can show you where it is knocking, and what happens up top with it. the only way you can save it from being angry is water injection. or bigger injectors. it will live if tuned right. if not, you may or may not run into issues.

the way i have it is i have all the stock hoses from the reguarl H/E the same execpt i took the pump one out and replace that one with the cobra so its goes cobra to pump now then then i connect the other side of cobra to the stock H/E
you guys make it to complex.
Run a new hose from the OUT side of your stock H/E, to the IN side of your cobra, then from the OUT side of your cobra, goes back to the pump
your just adding another rad in series.

does any one have 60ib injectors for sale?
Try this post, he was selling flow matched injectors with the harness for $200 I think.

I have been running my 2.8" pulley for over a year and when I dyno'd my car the a/f was great, wasn't running lean at all, i have had absoluatly 0 issues with my setup...but if I were to do it again I would just stick with the 2.9" pulley, less heat, better IDC's, probably more reliable...I also dont run my car wide open for long periods of time either...run it through the gears and then let it cool down for several minutes before doing it again, plus I live in Canada and the temps are lower than some of the members in the southern states, I am definatly going heat exchanger and dual pass in the spring. I would like to see the logs that Area47 has when he had the same setup, can you post them please?
It can be tuned with hp tunersfairly accuratebut for fine tuning dyno and wideband help. As for temps h/e exchanger helps, i have a cobra and cooled down a bit, wiing to see when italian joewill have more dual pass plates
I agree butif your not running it hard all the time, you can get a pretty good tune off a dyno. A friend just blew his gsr integra that way, tuned on dyno, and fried a piston on a quarter mile for being to lean.
