i dont think stage 1 with a 2.8 will be as good as Intense though. Does anyone dissagree?

I think it would be better, a true tune from GM beats a MAF-T

SilverSS I agree with you. 7000 rpm redline is one good reason. I think with the 2.8" pulley the numbers from each kit wil be similar.

but dont u think that Intense is only going to take the codes GM uses and make there kit better. first MAF translator. but im sure they will add on. I like the idea of stage 1 with 2.8 and may go with it but i think Intense is only going to take it tot he next level and all they have been waiting on is GM to give them some guidance

It all depends on what you want. Most people who are going with stage 2 are looking to maintain their warranty with little to no worry. If you want a beast of a car, eventually Intense or Rev-it up will be the best way to go. Until they actually get into the computer though GM i think still has the advantage over any of the piggybacks, mostly due to the higher redline.

I'm sure that after Intense can tune the ECU, the GM stage kits will be weaksauce. GM still has to cover their A$$E$, so the max power effort wasn't put into their tuning. I'll go for max power after my warranty is up. Then, I can fully build the motor!

After seeing what I did to my tranny and tranny mounts with 250+ wheel on a 3.0 pulley I see alot of people getting warrenty work in the near future on the 2.9 and smaller pulleies. I couln't even front like my car was stock when i went in for warrenty work tranny had the face riped off still attached to the tranny mount, a grapefruit sized hole in the side of it and a crack going all the way up the side of the damn thing like it got hit by an artillery shell. My boy threw on stage1 with his 3.o pulley and clutch won't hold in any gear worth a damn. well its not the clutches fault its the clutch master cyl's fault but I'm just saying ***** gonna start breaking on these cobalts reall soon.

The 77.9 i listed was just what had been posted on here before i never measured mine. 115 kpa is 16.7 psi. I have seen 16.9 so we are pretty close on boost levels.

Just top let you know google has a built in unit converter. If for this you just type "115 kilopascals in psi" you will get the exact answer. usually you can just use and abreviation but "kpa" didn't work for some reason.

like badmunky said... the supercharger redlines at 16,000 rpm, "A 2.7" pully at 7000Rpm should give you BOUT 15,555Rpm at the supercharger" i don't think that a 2.7 would be good for daily driving putting that much strain on the sc.

ISO is right. That is way too much strain on the SC. If you use the car just to race and you have the money to fix things when they break, a 2.7 or 2.6 would be nice.

Those 2 def not. SFPH is a 4 bolt system and ZZP is 5. ZZP and billetflow may work, they are both 5. One person on here has a SFPH pulley coming to try with the GM hub since they are both 4 bolt with a ~2 5/16 bolt diameter.

now a 2.9 for daily driving and a 2.7 for track days might not be such a bad idea...
