Are you asking how his car compensates for maxing out the injectors? I'm not OzzyruleZ btw.

yeah basically i assuming the knock sensor would make it pull a bunch of timing if/when the injectors were maxed out

Honestly it probably just leans out so he avoids giving it too much throttle when it is cold out. ECU's aren't set up to compensate for maxed out injectors. If the injectors are maxing out or even getting too close it is the wrong injector for the setup and they should be changed.

Hey guys, not to hijack the post, but recently I bought a new SS and I’ve been trying to put iT back to how my SS I had from 09-12 was. For a female, I’m a 6/10 in the mechanically inclined category, however my old SS has a stage 2 GM pulley and belt and I do not know how to tell what my new setup has. I could make my own thread titled ‘tell Ashley what’s in the engine bay’ lol

Is there an easy way to tell?

There should be a number on the pulley. Like 71.9mm or something

If pulley isn't marked you can measure it. Then take a peek at the injectors. I think the stock injectors have a green top and stage 2 injectors can be black or grey?
