I agree with this. It's kind of hard to tell someone to not waste there time with a 2.9 when my car, which still has a 2.9, is the 9th highest on the dyno list. 291whp/249wtq is not to shabby.

The 2.9 does not have to fight itself to run so it runs right. What other mods have you done?

When I made those numbers it was just an air box mod, mid-length header and catless dp to a stock catback with a cutout, 80# injectors, E85, and an OTTP 2nd gen H/E.
