No offense man but you really should have got your hands on a power tuner before putting that 2.8 on. The 2.8 on a stock tune is doing alot more bad than good for you. I suggest driving like a huge ***** when you go get the tuner.

Let's give him the benefit of the doubt guys; it sounds to me like he said that he's not boosting or shifting before 4000; or better yet not driving at all. I can't quite tell because the grammar is bad, but that's what I got from it. Sounds like he got the pulley and injectors installed and drove home carefully and will now drive carefully to get HPT.

any way, if you got those injectors on the net, from a vendor... there was a misprint on their site. those ARE 42.5lb/hr injectors. they should look like this:

this is like the third time someone has claimed to have 44's(they all found out they were 42's), i really think you are mistaken.
but your right shortbus those injectors will still be maxed. I would suggest tuning it and lean out a little in the upper RPM while putting a 6500 rev limit on it. If you really want to rev it out or have the room for 7000RPM then get a 2.9.
Well considering i had a 2.7 of 42 on my car and on hp tuners the idc by 5k was 122% reading, so assuming that i would imagine with a 7k redline and 44s it would be maxed, just get 60s and call it a day.
2.8 and 42 or 44 # injectors will be fine. I have been running that setup for over a year.
I have read of 1 setup running 42# melting down and about 20 setups running 60# melting down. Don't go lower than 2.8, also try to get a header back system, that will lower your overall manifold air pressure 1-3 PSI and also get your injectors flowing a bit more as well.
I easily hit low 12's AFR with 42# and a 2.8 pulley.
