So I didn't even get to tune again because the guys at the shop said that 140% IDC is not good no way?!?!? I had my Stage II setup tuned last year, but then got a 2.9" and finally got back to the tuner, and bad news I'm going to get 60's (in the mail), but I was thinking while I'm at it, why not go down a pulley size or two? Is 2.7" too small? I've heard good and bad about the 2.7 unless you have some serious cooling mods... thoughts?

With a 2.7 you should have a bigger or extra h/e. You can run the 2.7 with 60s without maxing out your injectors.

That's what I thought. Bigger heat exchanger. Most practical next step. Good thing summer days are nice to work on the ride!

I would go with a 2.8 personally. If you go lower then that you are putting the blower out of its efficiency range. I would also look into meth injection.

if i just put the 60's on, and tune with the 2.9, do you think i'd see an increase in hp? or just keep the same levels, but not be maxing out the injectors?

depends on how much timing and what AFR's your previous tuner put in
