2 step colder autolites

I found the number 3922 for one step colder. But, does anyone have the # for 2 step colder autolites in copper?

Well... I can't get any NGK's in 2 steps colder by Saturday. I can order them and even then they are the iridium ones.

I'd really prefer some copper plugs and I know autolites can be found localy.

3921 sound right? anyone running it?

I run the 3922..

Ive been told that the stock ss/sc plugs are already "one step colder" plugs... so going one step down (3923 to 3922) is technically 2 steps colder already. Hungryhip explained this to me.

You have any problems with burst knock?

What kind of boost are you running??

During some recent tuning of mine. I can't seem to run any kind of aggressive timing that I should be able to run with the meth. I'm on bkr7e's and I think they are too hot for my setup, causing burst knock in the top of third.

Look up NGK parts numbers as follows at the local parts store and you might have better luck finding them. You may also need to go to a couple different ones as well. A good tuner will always venture a bit out of the way to find tune up parts locally. Advanced auto parts usually has them, but you have to use these stock numbers.

NGK BKR7E copper v-power: 4644
NGK BKR8E copper v-power: 6097

Gap them to .032-.035 and you should be set. Since they are $2/plug, I would suggest changing them every oil change or every other. I truely do think that the 4644's gapped at .035 will more than do the trick for you though.

Well I've been running the BKR7e's gapped at .28 and I see a burst knock that I can't explain except maybe that the plugs are too hot for my setup.

You can't forget I'm running WAY more boost than I should. IDK what it is exactly because I don't have boost on my hp config. But, if I did the math right it's over 24psi.

I think I located some NGK bkr8e's though. Thanks for the part numbers!

At that PSI range I can definitely see the 8's then. You might be getting some blow out with that sort of airflow. The MAF might be maxed out as well. No problem on the part numbers. I'm willing to help anyone that is actually posting something that interests me now a days.
