Same year and model as my car. Nice miles but WAY too pricey. Hell for that go buy one thats a year old. Without looking at the car, if its stock and in great shape, 10k maybe a tad more but no way 15.9k. Seller needs to put down the crack pipe!

Don't buy that. It's a rip off. I got mine with 33,000 miles and it was 13,000 at the dealership and we were able to work them down to 11,000. U just gotta look around. U can get a much better deal. Great car tho. I love mine.

I picked mine up with 34k and for 12.9k. A little over but with my crappy credit it was good enough.

Lol thanks for the replies everyone! See these god damn dealers around me are F**kin cracked! Like 3 weeks ago I went and test drove a 2007 cobalt with 11k miles on it,I talked them down to 14100 from 16000$ and I was like hell no,that's rediclous! So I figured id keep on searchin and I came across a 2007 for 16000$ with 35kmiles on it and they wouldn't budge on the price, like WTF! So I found this one for 15000 with 60kmiles on it. I talked to the salesman AKA shark and he fed me a bunch of crap over the phone but the car is coming from out of state so it will be on the carlot in 2 weeks. KBB says private seller price is 11200 and the suggested ratail price on it is 14100 like wtf,for an 06??? I can't win,so I need to try and sweet talk this shark and try to get them down on price.

I forgot to mention a good buddy of mine picked up an 08 SS/TC with 40k miles on it for 14100,wtf lol this S*hit is driving me nuts!

I just bought mine not even a month ago for 10K even with the same amount of mileage. Unless the car is made out of gold they will never get that much. Definitely do what everyone else says and look around. Ask them why they are charging so much. Have them tell you why its so high because that is so much higher than KBB or anything for that matter.

Damnnnn, now I really feel like I'm getting bent over!I know this red cobalt with 60k miles on it don't have the G85p package. But the dealer wouldn't tell me much about it,besides its car fax and what color it was. Its rediculous to ask that much for a car that is 5 years old!

The car is 5 years old,I know there's going to be some wear and tear on it. I'm sure the clutch is on its way out too if its the stock clutch,it is bone stock also. But I can't go that high on a car when I can get a faster SS/TC for the same price. The last dealership I talked to said "its a rare car, since they don't make the SC cobalts anymore" and I got fed up with him and didn't email him back.

They don't make the TC Cobalts anymore
They don't make the N/A Cobalts anymore
They dont make ANY Cobalts anymore
See how much they want for a S-10 if they
have any. Then ask why the price is so low and
say it's a rare pickup since they dont make the
N/A S-10 anymore. Hahaha
What an assclown (The Dealer)

BTW: Mine back in Oct 2009, with 35000 miles, (2006 SS/SC with the LSD Tranny)
was $15400
I have roughtly 57K on it now.

I wouldnt mess with this dealer, other than telling him to pound salt in his ass. Rare car lmfao, if thats the case theres **** tons of "rare cars" out there, from all kinds of manufactures. I shoulda never got rid of my old chevette, its "rare". KBB and NADA are there for a reason, asking more for a car than either of those two services say its worth, well there should be reasons for that, mods ect.

Do yourself a favor and find another stealership to deal with. If this guy is jerkin you this bad and you aint even bought anything yet. Wait till he unloads a suposed "jewel" of a car on you. Just saying you could be in for more headaches than you really want to deal with.

Keep your eyes open man, you can get a good deal if you're diligent and jump on the right deal. I got mine for $6,100 with 81k on it last summer.

I had to drive from Central IL to Grand Rapids to get mine FYI. Don't be afraid to travel. the $ you spend on gas isn't likely to be higher than the money you may be saving on a good deal.

Does it have to be a dealer vehicle? You can find lots of reputable guys on here who are selling their balts. You can pretty count on them being pretty well taken care of as well.

I have a pick up truck to trade in,well I have it on craigslist and am going to put it on auto trader since I already know the dealership won't get me **** for trade in. I'm not affraid to travel its just the possibility of traveling a long enough trip to be disappointed about the car. Ill have to redefine my search in a SS/SC lol and try to get rid of my truck in the mean time

Keep looking , I found mine after a few months of searching. I got a 2007 with 16,000 miles on it for $13,000. You can always benefit from someone who has to let a car go. Be patient and keep looking. The dealers are out to make a buck so also remember to negotiate oil changes and service time if you can. I would say that a couple of years of oil changes always helps with a price. Be nice about your offer and if they don't like it leave and do not listen to the BS , not worth your time there. Good Luck
