2007 SS/SC setup

Hey guys,

I've been doing tons of reading trying to find the best setups for my budget and the power that I want. I just wanted to see if these mods I have will work with each other and the kind of power ill be putting out at the wheels. So far my mods consist of :

AEM CAI
GMPP Cat Back exhaust
MRZ Strut Bar
GM Stage 2

I am looking into these parts as of now:

Vibrant Header+DP
2.8 Pulley OTTP
Siemens 60's
OTTP H/E kit
OTTP Stage 2 Rotated Trans Mounts

I still have GM Warranty and would like to keep it. Will any of these parts void? As of now my understanding is only ecu changes will void the warranty. Which brings me to my next question, will I need a different tune with these parts or will my gm stage 2 reflash tune still be okay. And lastly am I missing any vital parts, I've been trying to do research the best I can haha but I might have missed something.

Thanks for your help!

The only way those parts will void your warrenty is if they cause the issue you are going in to get fixed. For example. Say your transmission case broke because of your OTTP Tranny Mounts...then its voided. However....say your headlights break...well theres nothing in your aftermarket parts that could have caused that so your warrenty is a go. A dealership manager told me that when i had my cobalt. I kept going to the same dealership because they treated me right.

I had 2.8" pulley, 60lb injectors, meth, heat exchanger, lowering springs, 1 step colder plugs, cai and a few other parts. Still had warrenty. I had to go to another dealership and they told me that my warrenty would be good to fix my reverse lights (switch box was broken causing my lights not to turn on) because i had a aftermarket intake. I told them thats bs and the part has to cause the problem....sure enough i got the work for free.

Even with other dealerships besides GM have the same rule. I know have a Nissan 370z. Just hooked a nitrous kit to it. My climate controls went ape ****. Brought the car in, talked to the manager about how the cars going, how i like it, showed him the nitrous and told him my racing plans....sure enough, nitrous obviously didnt cause the problems and my warrenty was still good.

Just remember...dealerships lie, cheat and steal to make a few bucks...dont buy into their bullshit if they screw u around.

the pulley and the tune will void your warranty, some dealerships have a fit with just a cai

to make it easy, just get ottp stage 2 kit. it has all of the parts you need + tune. if you peace a kit together you will have to get a tune from someone or a shop anyways. also to tune effectively you need a wideband, so since you dont have one do the ottp kit and it will save you from buying the wideband. you can always get it later down the road.
and second get rid of that catback if you have the money and get a cti 3 to 2 1/2" or 3" all the way and get a 2 1/2" or 3" custom/mandrel bent catback with a magnaflow muffler (offset center muffler to keep the exhaust note down)

and if you need/want to keep the warranty then save your money till its up because there is no way around it.

Depends on the dealership. But anyone one of those could void your warrenty.

Thanks for the info guys! Well living in Canada I don't know how to tune or know any tuners so if worse comes to worse would a 2.9 with my 42's still work on gm tune?

(someone correct me if im wrong) yes you can to my knowledge. dropping to a 2.8 will max out your injectors. some ppl run it but it not a smart thing to do. especially if you dont have a wideband.
as for the tune ottp's kit comes with a tune so all you need to do is find a shop that has hp tuners to upload the tune for you. you can ask them to send you the tune file via e-mail and you'll be fine.

also as stated before, if your dealer is picky the 2.9 pulley will void your warranty for motor work if they catch it.
