stock catback?
stock exhaust manifold?
stock dp w/ craptastic CAT?

Any cooling mods? increased PSI can be caused by excessive IAT2.

Either you are driving in extremely cold weather or your cat is starting to crap out on you. Keep an eye on it for the meantime in case the boost goes up higher.

clogged cat most likely.. or the starting phases of it.

You have any method of monitoring your IAT2s?

Recommend you do not go into WOT

I was under the impression that our stock guages were hooked up via the ECM. I would assume that makes it electronic, considering it's not hooked up via a vacuum line like I've seen.

Either way... only boost I TRUST is what my Hptuners logging tells me.

What kind of boost will you see on the gauge with a 2.8" and a full exhaust? When i say full exhaust i mean header, catless dp and catback.

HPT is seeing boost from the exact same place the gauge is, I don't see why everyone makes a big fuss out of the stock gauge.. Yeah, they burn out, but other than that they're fine.

doesn't matter if it would be more accurate (which it wouldn't be unless your sensor or gauge are malfunctioning)

the ECU is still going to see the same boost as it was before, the gauge changes nothing unless you're doing a custom tune

first hand experiance. I ran stock can and 2.5 ark catback and one night it just decided to melt. i was hitting 20 lbs at like 4500rpms barely made it home and when i pulled in the drive way reved it up cause it sounded cool with the supercharger sputtering but any ways the radiator cap blew off. next day unbolted it completely melted the internals of the cat
