My car got up to 227 degrees in trafic today and never droped below 217 until after I got on highway. My old balt never got that hot and this one normaly runs around 185. I am droping off at dealer for warranty work tommorow just curious if should tell them? Can anybody help please?

 

ouch...never seen higher than around 200 in mine. danger is prolly higher than 225 tho, especially considering my dads car runs at around that normally (c6 vette)
