Intense has them already machined. $49.99 + $70.00 core charge

He would have to pay an extra 500 dollars because he wants to keep his factory snout. The core charge isn't 70 dollars, its 500. Which makes sense cause snouts aren't cheap. I would still probably recommend contacting Intense and seeing if they can work with you.

Or you can go to a junkyard and try to find a wrecked SS with a good snout. The only thing is most places will prolly want to sell you the whole blower. Not necvessarily a bad thing but not as cheap either.

there's also a tool available if u want to do it yourself......I personally would buy the already machined snout if you have the flow for the core

Good luck! There is exactly one available in the country and they want $750 for it. If anyone had one they'd want to sell the entire engine.

he is wrong about what. He wants a second snout, not to machine his down, why you linking to the tool.

Some people may want the ability to run a pully other then a 2.5. once the snout is machined there is no way to put it back.

I do not want to take my car to the dealership and have a modified snout on my car.

Oh i see, they are hard to come by i guess. One option may be to talk to junkyards/salvages in a major city about this (higher chance of locating one), the only trick is finding one with an SS's or Redlines being that they are so new. They're out there though......you know people get crazy in these things. try the major city's!

Sorry that was the core charge for the MPS Hub.

I checked Pinnacle and the Eden system, also looked on car-part.com. The only thing showing up is an ION supercharger for $750. If the salvage yard has a computerized inventory it will more than likely show up on one of these searches.

Totalled cars take several months before the yards get them after an accident. The insurance company has to declare it a loss, they go through auction and then you've got to wait for a title. We've had cars sit in storage for a year waiting on a title to clear. No doubt they will be out there eventually though.

Just because you machine your snout does not mean you cannot run a bigger pulley. As long as it fits on the blower shaft, any size pulley will work with a machined snout.
