I recently noticed while shifting into 2nd gear, the motor bounces up and down as well as the car. Anybody know what is going on?

 

Wheres the clutch?

Down... Up... Somewhere in the middle?

Edit: I mean position of the clutch pedal...

the clutch is completely not touched. its after I shift into second gear.

 

Yeah I do notice as well that 1st to 2nd gear shift is rough compared to the other gear transitions. It also could be a result that I'm still learning this car as I've only had it for just over 3 days.

 

Try shifting at a slightly higher RPM. The gap from 1st to 2nd gear is rather larger on the SS S/C, which results in some bogging/bucking after the 1-2 shift at lower RPM's.

Just experiment a little with the shift points until you find the smoothest RPM to shift at

i didnt have a problem with the 06 g85 i drove yesterday, right from the getgo i had it smooth with no passenger head-banging
