No... A 2.5" is plenty for 75% of people & 3" is plenty for the remaining 25%. A 3.5" inch intake would be worthless when you're feeding a ~3" throttle body / blower inlet.

3.5 wont go over the axle without hitting everything in its way, so this thread is sort of pointless. sad to say.

not sure where you will find that or a shop to bend it.

if you wish. 2.5 will work and is easier to work with for installation. Good luck with your project!

3" inch turbo intake, 3" turbo back exhaust (over axle Hahn) Making 420hp and still have lots of room to grow. 3.5 anything is pointless as Powell said. Even on a 900 hp corvette has dual 3 inch exhausts. After that kind of HP you would run an open header and drag the car. Again pointless but the guy has 5 posts so giving him a break.

Everyone seems to forget the area of a circle formula they learned back in high school.
Here is a simple area calculator
Area of a circle calculator
Try it out with 2, 2.5 & 3 and you will see why small increases in the diameter makes such a large difference in the amount of air you can move.
