I know somebody who did the exact same thing i think hes Theasian1 on here. He had the zzp 3inch on stock everything. He would lose boost at 6000rpm. But i raced him from a 40-100 and beat me by a car when i was stock.

06black--i understand what you're saying. however, i haven't heard of anyone having an issue running a 3.0" with stock injectors. above 5k is probably the dangerous point, but how much time does the engine spend under load at that range is what you have to think about, but it only takes one time. i think i'm dynoing on July 21 so i'll be able to see what the a/f looks like for sure, unless anyone has this setup and already has the info, then please post up!

ya'll are still missing the point, getting closer but not totaly....

AFR isnt the issue at hand, its IDC....the car runs rich and the pulley will lean it out BUT we DO NOT KNOW how much

the gm tune commands 11.0ish as an average across the RPM band so if he leans out say half a point in the current weather(taking him to 11.5ish) then when it cools down and winter hits with his injecters are already maxed the car wont be able to correct itslf and with a fe 30deg days you'll see AFR's FARRR FARR FARR above the 12.0 "safe" mark and then you worry about a blown motor due to AFR.

running an IDC as high as his will be you run into what i stated before
"high IDC's blow out injectors, it can also "freeze" them, and generally wear them down at a rapid rate." when that happens and a injector lets go its a matter of mere seconds before **** goes.

Well, when I'm daily driving, I baby the hell outta my car anyway. I could easly bypass the boost bleed whenever I were to go to the track.

I'm very much appreciating your imput so far, and if it makes you feel a little more at ease, I'm getting larger injectors next month.

i, on the other hand do know how much my car leaned out.

it is a given that with leaner afr the idc goes down, but MOST people on here do not have the means to watch the car and see whats going on with it, and are able to compensate for it

correct, you do know how much "YOUR" car leaned out, that is not a "static" number, if it was our VE's and MAF tables would be a standard across the board.

not sure about "most" people havening the means to monitor a car, but i do not assume that, post the facts so people know what can and often does happen.
