why you stop at 7200? you can spin 8192 with that set-up all day long... you wont make power that high on the head and cams and you will be over spinning your blower but it would be a lot of fun burring the tach before shifting...
seems you need to go turbo or tvs...

amen, that's the truth. I didn't get back on the road until 6weeks behind schedule. It was WAY worth it in the end. I doubt there are too many m62 cars that are going to perform like mine. Not trying to brag, but this headwork is a piece of art.

yea, and I just found out that limiting boost in 2nd gear limits it in all the rest of the gears. I think I may have created a monster. LOL.
that's a good thing, cause I got a few v8's on a 100 shot that need to be stung by the bumble bee.

yea, it's an 06. I honestly can't believe that it limits boost in every gear like that. THat is just insane. I can't wait to start tuning tomorrow once I get the rest of my parts on.

like wise lol.....my good buddy has an srt-4 and after my build after i had 1,500 miles on the car it was the first hard pull since my build and car was at 16lbs then and i shut down like shortly in 3rd gear for i already had 3 cars on him lol, he was shocked and pist, for the last time he put time before my build he had put 2-3 cars on me. he dyno'd at 265hp and 3something tqr, i tease him now cause i have more miles on my car and it currently running 23lbs of boost and he said he didnt want to waste my time lol... igot a kick out of his reply lol.

lol, nah it's going to stay yellow. I've been considering painting the air dam and middle of the front lip black just to give it a new look. nothing too aggressive. But it's so awesome for it to be the way it is. the mach1 I raced was in total astonishment. He said he thought for sure he was going to slingshot me. LMAO.

Update no. 5
Yesterday I got the chance to do some tuning after it finally stopped raining for the last two days. We got out and worked on trying to figure out why the car has been steady pulling timing due to kr, no matter how far Joe backs down the timing.
We were going to take a look at the exhaust and see if there was somewhere the exhaust was hitting and causing the knock sensors to go off from the vibrations. Got the car up on ramps, oil is dripping out. Not like with the oil pump but on the passenger side. Take a look underneath and it's not bad but wondering where it's coming from. I pulled on the dipstick, and the tube came with it. It snapped off right where the tube is secured to the intake manifold. He and I managed to get it out, albeit in two pieces. Welded it back together and tried to shimmy it back in but it wouldn't go.
I'm trying to find out a way to get it back in without having to take anything out in the process.

Could be a bad o-ring on the dipstick tube where it meets the pan. Any auto parts store should have similar o rings, that's what I had to do.
And you should be able to get it back in without removing anything with an extra hand guiding from underneath.

the o-rings were fine. The lower part of it was still seated in the hole going into the oil pan. The oil was just spitting up through the crack in the tube.
we tried from above but to no avail. I'll try from underneath today.
