42lb STage Question?

Okay sorry If this may be a stupid question but I got to know.
GM Stage I kit is only 42lb Injectors that come flashed already(I think that's the proper terminology)
now.. If I buy 42lbers and get a tune with HPTuners.. will that equal out to almost the same thing??!

actually it's better. (better whp gains from custom tuning, except you dont have a warranty)

but you might as well just spend the extra $100 and get a new 2.9" pulley too since you're getting a dyno tune (probably 15-20whp over what you'd already have with the injectors and tune)

Don't worry about hp numbers bro, worry about trap speeds. That's a better indicator of what your car is capable of. The nice thing about a custom tune is, you can play w/ the torque management to reduce power in 1st gear for traction and go all out in other gears. Every dyno is different, bhp wise, you're looking at around ~260 depending on how your other mods react to it. Could def be higher...

Good luck, and make sure you find a reputable tuner. I don't know where you are in the country, but go onto the regional forum and find people around you that have done the research already.
