50 trim turbo

Hey my friend with an SRT 4 got a bigger turbo for his car and is getting rid of his 50 trim. He used it for a month and still has the factory warranty on it. He wants 250 dlls for it. Is this a good price? and would it help anyone in here in building a turbo setup...
I am just trying to help,

Thank you

Most do rear mount, as the exhaust manifold is in the back of the engine bay....

Although I have seen one where a guy mounted a GT35R on the passenger side of the engine bay, by the motor mount. It won't fit behind the motor.

Only thing restricting most of us are pistons. Reliable to 300hp I hear. GM stage 3 puts you right on the borderline.

You can run a GT35R but you would really need to run minimal boost resulting in not so great numbers with a somewhat laggy snail....

the GT35R really gets mean and shines at 30+ psi.....

at that boost level it requires a fully built and forged bottom end...

the 50trim is a great street turbo, makes very good power on pump and can also get nasty on VP's C16....

yea a lot of my srt freinds turn to the 50 trim. A friend of mine ditched the 50 trim though.. went to a 3147. When i had my srt i was gonna go 50 trim but i got rid of that car. Ill end up with the 30r, i could run maybe 25 psi with stock block and a 35r but id rather use the turbos full potential.

for cobalts it seems 50 trim ftw! at 250 bucks BUY IT!

Wait you can get a new 50 for 250 off ebay. If its a real brand name its not a bad deal and its a good turbo for the car.

It is a 50 trim AGP turbo..it has a 1 YR WARRANTY. I think he wants something like a 60 trim on his car...I never heard of that but I am not that knowledgeable on turbos.... Is anyone interested on it? How much more money would you have to dump on the balt to run that turbo?

Why is he selling it so cheap?? Even the standard bearing AGP 50 trims are $850 new. He could get more than $250 out of a slightly used one.
