60#'s with a 2.9?

I just installed the 2.9" Pulley and My buddy wants to sell me his 60#'s is it ok to run 60's with a 2.9?

How soon would I need to get the car tuned after if I put those in?

That's fine to do. It's a bit over kill but if you plan on running anything more in the future it's a good investment.

You need to get a tune immediately for the new injectors.

it's definately safer than 42# on a 2.9. I'm currently running a 2.99 on 60# for my winter setup. Just make sure you retune for the 60s.

Yes yes yes....If you stick with a GM Stage 2 tune on a 2.9 your injectors will go static at like 6K rpm...IDC's will be near 120%.

If you get 60's you're gonna need to tune for them.

I have a 2.9 with 60# right now, runs just fine.

But as has been said several times - get a tune with it.

Probably just a tad bit faster. I wouldn't say it will be a big difference though. The car will probably pull a little harder up top because it isn't going to be running static.

It will be slower without a tune.

Your car will get the fuel it commands and it wont like it.

if they are in good condition and flow matched, that's a great price.

I believe it's a test conducted on the injectors to make sure they operate properly and to their full potential....I could be wrong though. and probably am...
