60lb injector harness install question

60lb injector harness install question

The harness is scribed 1-4. I just want to double check that these numbers match up to the cylinders. And it's 1-4 start from the passenger side right? Thanks.

Yes that 1-4 starts from passenger, so the last injector is on the drivers side.

The way the harness is labeled Doc, the longer to shorter deal doesn't work. This is why I was checking.

um....thats the way they work...now I am wondering
when you install them on the fuel rail, its upside down, you put the shorter set on the left and then flip it over and it ends up on the right....

The two center ones are shorter, the furthest one is the #1, and the second longest is the #4. Well, that's the way they are labeled so that's the way I'm going.

I meant from the plug...
the longest from the plug should be to the left when installed...

with the plug to the right

Damn it! I like the idea of longest to shortest, but the labels say otherwise. Only one way to find out for sure though. I'll be back in a little bit.

Well, I went with the numbers Doc and it was the right way for sure. Holy mother of god the new 60lb injectors gave some serious oomph with the special tune I have!

This is odd. I had mine in 1 - 4 - 2 - 3 (as per the length of the wires) and then switched it to 1 - 2 - 3 - 4, and no difference in how it runs.

So i did a continuity test on the wires in the harness, and compared it to the stock harness, according to the continuity test, if you are going to run the wires in the same orientation as the stock harness, 1, 4, 2, 3 is in fact correct.
