why are you upping your rev limiter if you're keeping your car otherwise stock?

you can do it with hp tuners

HP tuners can do it. Just find a tuner and tell him what you want.

HPTuners....But I think you would need to create tables past the 6500 rpm mark right since the stock tune wouldn't have tables past 6500 I would assume???

I haven't seen a stock tune yet so i'm just guessing.

honestly, i would save the few hundred that it will probaly cost to raise the limiter, which is somewhat pointless on a stock car, and get an intake or an exhaust or something...

not necessarily pointless, raising the limiter to 7k complimets the gear ratios more for better acceleration. If you can reach 7k in any gear that means you get to start at higher rpm in the next gear when you shift. Point is that even if you dont up the power any you can get better acceleration by doing this. I would definitely get an intake b4 raising the limiter, higher rpm is more airflow-demanding

Yeah seriously, get a GMPP S1... and that keeps ure warranty, gives you the extra 500k and a few extra hp up high. I think the power with the gmpp S1 is the same, just the engine is continuing to make power till redline. So the car would feel the same, just the 500K extra with extra hp to match those revs

If you raise your rev limiter to 7000 on stock injectors, have fun getting them up to 108% duty cycle.

500k? wow with a total of 506,500 revs you would have any crotch rocket for lunch! Is there an intake available to support such airflow demands? Just kidding, man.

500 more revs generating an additional 30 whp? dont think so, it should be quicker all the way through and not just in the extra 500 revs. if that were true, it would feel like vtec kicked in once you got past 6500rpm, sweet!

Honestly I have 7000rpm and there is not power up there. I short shift my car to get my 1/4 mile results. the secret is out.

Psh! Thats nothin, on my pump gas tune I shift at 5800-6000! There is NO power what so ever past 6000 rpm, I set it like that so I wouldn't be thrashing it up to 7000 rpm all the time. My race gas tune makes insane power up to about 6700-6800 then it just makes crazy power up to 7100

What size pulley you running to need 60# injectors? I make 16 at 3000 and peak at 18.5 with a 2.6".
