About to install some mods finally

What's up all. Finally finished collecting and ordering all my parts needed and have been doing lots of research.

I have ready to go on, opt b, dual pass, 2.9" pulley with gm s2 belt, one step colder plugs, new sc coupler and oil. And all tools and sealant I need.

Just curious if there's anything I should be looking out for while doing this.

Other than the "elusive" 8th bolt on the IM? Do I really need to remove the two studs from the im. Some how to's say yes while others say no, so just wondering about that.

Gapping plugs to .035 as I've read that's best for s2.

I would also like to thank all the members I've purchased parts from, and at great deals. So thanks to riceburner, staged07ss , Italianjoe1, bass waves, shortbus, 07ss_chick, and cobaltss118. And just a general thanks to all the knowledgable people here.

Also I purchased a used hub and snout that I'm second guessing. It looks a little marred up. I'll get some piece of that when I get off tomorrow am. And see what you all think.

Think I finally got it.
Also have a new hub because I'm thinking the other is bad. But if it's not. I'll resell it.

Fail again. I'll try again later tonight.

Got the pulley, injectors, plugs and tune installed. Dual pass and opt b as soon as the plate gets here. Just need to order a new intake gasket and sc gasket.

I'm only making about 13 psi. Mods are just a shorty header and pulley now. Does that sound right? I think my crappy harbor freight gauge isn't reading correctly.

No, that's a hub and snout I purchased from a member. I bought a new hub and used a zzp puller. I didn't think that one in the pics looked right. Doesn't make any noises or anything but I was just afraid to run it because of the way it looks.

Thanks rice. Those 60s are working out nice.
And for a canned tune, this zzp tune makes the drive much better. No more idle surge and it just feels better all the way around. Normal and hard driving.

Any more opinions on the psi level? Doing some searching around and I think with my mods and elevation(@4500') I'm right where I should be. What do you guys think?
2.9 pulley, zzp shorty,and 4500 feet asl. 13ish psi.

I'm a little more free flowing than you and see 12psi at 1000'. I'm only able to glance at mine so it may vary, idk. Does yours hit 13 often and stay there or will it rise with RPM?

Seems to hit 13 and hold pretty solid. But I always seem to roll into the throttle and not just jump on it. But the boost goes up quick and stays doesn't seem to go any higher with rpm. Gonna install a downpipe this weekend. I'll see if it stays or goes down. From my reading it seems that my psi level is about on par for where it should be.
