Not 100% Sure

PS +rep for giving informative answers in the midst of the crap thats flying around this thread. Never mind on the rep, seems I need to "spread it around some more".
I haven't read the 300WHP ECOTEC build book, but I would guess its a lot of internals and stuff, and I thought it had GM Stage 2 on it as well. I think its supposed to be using all GM parts or something like that. I'm not 100% sure on it. i'd have to read it. And + rep back if I can. I try to be helpful when I can.

Also I was more talking about over the 300whp mark. i think the 300 build only gets it right too 300.

Really? That is music to my ears. i'd love to have a stock LSJ dynoing at that. Would make me a very happy person. I've heard that 07's tend to dyno a bit higher than most. I THINK I heard of a stock 07 ss/sc keeping up with a stage 2 05/06 ss/sc, which I never followed up on. I should go seek it out.

While I understand the intent of people saying "don't buy it", it's not that necessary to call the guy a idiot if he doesn't know better. It's like a Kindergarden teacher calling a 5 year old stupid because he doesn't know his multiplication. You're not stupid if you don't know or understand something.

I don't blame him for sticking up for himself a little bit.

Not pointing fingers but some of you guys just need to either take it down a bit or just don't post at all if you're going to try and humiliate someone who just doesn't know any better.

Remember, it's not what you say but how you say it.

I agreed with you from the start.

But its not everyone that is like that, just SOME people. Don't let some represent us all. I think most of us are really nice guys.

Thanks for the answer, and if I remember it is ALOT of internal replacement, etc. But if memory serves, there's no mention of the eaton, except in the beginning of the write-up, where it says, "Remove the supercharger" . Appreciate the straight forward answer, when I return from the PG late next year, I'll be doing something along the lines of that article, and will post up results.

Yeah I figured so. I'm not savvy enough nor confident enough to take apart that engine. I would pay someone to do it. I'm surprised they don't put the stage 2 on it. But yeah, I don't know. i try to help when I can. Good luck with your build man. You'll do great with it.

id like to put in my .02

For Sick ss/sc, read up on your car more, there are so many things you can learn just from this site on modding alone, trust me look in the how-to section and read peoples sig's to figure out what works best

and i know it seemed like everyone was bashing you but reading it really i would have gotten a little frustrated with you too. A bunch of people at first told you not to do it, it was a really bad idea, some guy said from experience even and you still went along and said "nah im gonna do it anyway i paid for it already" really bad idea.

then you had some people on here like lsjinTN acting like hes your hero, sry buddy your not savin anyone, and calling this site lame? dude a lot of us spend a lot of time on this site, its a great site with a lot of people to get info, dont bash it because u think there may be an ******* on here.

to Krutch, good advice dude i read it, a lil harsh but at least u got your point across, next time just say it a little easier and if the guy doesnt wanna listen then dont bother with him

to G5mike and njhk, i highly doubt there should be any bans, people may have flamed a little but ive seen much worse flaming then that, they were just frustrated

to snake, good info man

sry thats all i got to say you guys can carry on

Well klutch you had it coming man, look at your first post. AWD sticker...tornado...no need to be a dick about it. Then look at your second you called the kid an idiot. So what if he disagrees with you, let him learn from his mistakes just dont keep bashing him. Sure you gave him your advice but watch how you word it. Again I agree with you 100% why not to do it of course but just no need to be a dick.
