i never said i was anyones hero... hell, i wouldn't have put it on my car... but to flame a new guy for wanting to try something? that makes absolutely no sense, and yes i t IS lame that ppl get flamed ruthlessly for wanting to try something... hell, has anyone had a resistor on this car? im pretty sure he read EVERYONE'S comments about not doing the mod, but hey, it's his car, his decision, his life, his consequences, so instead of bashing him like he's the dregs of society and a big piece of ****, just let him be. none of you make his car payments, insurance payments, or fill up his gas tank, so what the hell does it matter? it was nice that you guys voiced your opinions, but it's NOT YOUR RIDE. why ridicule him for doing stupid ****? ive seen A LOT of stupid **** done w/ redlines, ss/sc's and I'll tell ppl, "hey, your car's riced out, but whatever makes u happy go for it" i wont sit there and belittle him for wanting to be a little creative or trying to go a dif. route
so dont EVEN get on my nuts about this

Renewal is just paper work...I don't have to take another driving test. I did that when I was 17 lol

Its not what you said but how you said it. You don't need to be jerkish about it. Remember, not everyone knows as much about cars as you, and some know a lot more about it.

Again I agree with you 100% why not to do it of course but just no need to be a dick.

I thought when you went between states that you had to retake your driver's test or something.

Yes there are some very helpful members here and a lot of cool people, but i still say that the majority of the people on this site are jerk offs. Thats my opinion, we make fun of people with fart cannons and big ass wings because all of us here think its retarded. If people ask questions that are legit and sincere, regardless of how silly the question might be, i don't see the need to bash. I dont make fun of someone who is new and asks a question about his cobalt. If he wants to do the chip let him but give him your advice. If his car gets damaged in the process whats it to any of us.

The least expensive way to get reliable dyno proven HP is GM stage 1. It costs a lot less now than when it first came out. Check out crateenginedepot.com. As far as mail order tunes, you'll find that they are no good unless you get it dyno tuned. Good luck with your car!! and Never put that resistor on your car. IAT sensor works with resistance. When it's cold, the resistance is different from when it gets hot. The PCM reads this resistance and adjusts to it. If the resistance is going to be fixed, your car will just run like crap.
BTW, sorry some of the guys ripped on you, don't feel bad. Some of the guys here are very cool and helpfull.

Those things are suppose to increase air flow.......It looks more like it going to restrict air flow . I don't think those will work at all.
