Angry acceleration problem

Recently i have been having some problems with the car if you run it up to like 6000 rpm or higher the car starts to have a hesitation. When you drive it normal or beat on it when you shift it like dumps all the boost so the car like skips real quick in between gears. Its almost as if the boost bypass is sticking and then closingreal quick. i took the car to the dealer they said it was the mass air. So i had them change it and the dam car still does it. This cars about to find the want adds real quick. Then if you stop turn the car off start it again it goes away until you run it up in the r's again.
Anyone felt anything like this before. I want to buy the new stage 3 pulley but i don't want to put it on the car if its going to be a piece the rest of its life. hope this sounds familiar to someoneor you understand what im saying. The 06 GTO i pass everyday is looking better and better each shift.

when did you install your stage 2.
have you had the "new stage 2" flash done?
it came out around september last year......

thats the only thing i can think of, that flash has helped alot of people get stage 2 cobalts running smoother, especially under heavy accel

The car will go to 7000 but anything after like 6200 will make the car start to act up after.

check your sparkplugs. they may be fouled. this would cause poor high rpm sparks. check it out, dude...

Agreed this is exactly like what happened to my car for a few days after my air filter got wet. If there has been a big rainstorm or snowstorm in your area your filter may be a little wet which would impede airflow
