Ok so im fairly new to upgrading of cars, but i do have every tool required to tear apart a car and rebuild from the ground(inherited from my father). Anyway i have an 07 with a gm S2 installed, im looking to do some power upgrades. Basically im asking whats the best upgrades for the buck? The 3" headers and exhaust look nice(from ZZP). Also im not sure if im just loosing traction towords the end of 2nd gear or my clutch is just slipping so possibly looking at getting a stronger clutch, anyone else have any issues with that? I saw that guide for the ZZP pulley which i was intrested in as well(i was actually looking to get the GM S3 pulley but that one looked pretty sweet). Also stupid me didnt get the limited slip on my car, is it worth it to get it installed? difficulty level and price? Anyway sorry for all the questions but there is just so much great information on this site it makes it nearly impossible to find the best information. Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you decide to get the G85 LSD setup, it would be cheaper to do a trans swap rather than add a LSD into the existing trans.

 

so im looking at approx 2200 for something like that. god i want to kick myself for not getting that! fricken florida only had 3 SS/SC when i got mine and i was strapped to get a car

 

Cooling and Traction mods are the best bang for ur buck. Ask Ralliartist. Hes one of the only smart people on this forum.

If your in IL, i live in chicago, I make cooling mods for SS/SC that are cheap and do an amazing job.

 

You can recoup some of the money by selling the stock trans.

 

everyone seems to overlook tuning as best bang for your buck.
