AEM CAI Installed = Sucess

I know when I was looking for info on this intake there wasn't a whole lot out there so I'm adding this for those who need this info.

It was a great sucess. I did take the wheel off, the wheel well and the splash guard. Install was quite easy, I just followed the directions that came with the intake.

The Intake sounds GREAT and I have noticed a tad difference in power. No CEL's and I have driven it hard.

A+ for this product. Plus it gives the apperence of still being stock since it is only the lower half of the intake.

Looks good! I can't wait till I get my CAI. I was leaning towards the Injen, but have been hearing about a lot of problems as such. Also found out that it comes with a K&N filter as well. How much did you pay for it? What was the part number?

Injen doesnt have a K&N filter?? It has a same type of filter however, an oiled one. I installed mine on my car and it looks great really. When you open the hood, there it is in chrome!!! You cant even tell with the AEM, and the Injen has greater gains. ITs preferance really!

i highly recomend a dry filter cover for it from injen, i had an aem cai as well but i guess the filter got wet during some raining and caused my maf to go haywire, it was fine after the maf was dried and what not but ive replaced it with a stock airbox until i can get around to buying a dryfilter cover.

Did it make the Supercharger whine much louder like everyone says the Injen does? Are you pleased with how it sounds? Have you driven it in the rain yet? Any CEL's so far? I'm definitely an AEM fan, but want to make sure I'm getting the right one. I want a loud SC whine too, I love the sound and am very interested in it.
