AEM Dryflow filter cover question

I am looking to get a injen hydro shield to put on my dryflow filter. I know the filter is 3.25" inlet and 5" long. Do these dimensions of the hydro shield seem it would be fine? 6" Base, 5" Tall, 4" to 5" Top? This is the link I was looking at them.

My damn filter keeps getting wet and messing with the MAF. My driver fender has a big gap, it doesn't touch the metal in the fender so water gets in. I put all kinds of **** in it to close it. I put some foam **** my dad had, then some sticky **** on top of that, duct tape, it worked for months. On the way home from school it was raining like a bitch and i started to get on it going up a hill and it felt like it was going to stall, same **** it does when it gets wet. I am just gonna throw one of these on it, can't hurt it.

I just want to make sure that size will fit the 3.25"x5" aem dryflow before I buy it.

What size would you buy bud? They have like small, medium, and large. I looked at turbotechracing and they are 25 bucks and only one size. I was gonna just pick that up but then they wanted 9 bucks to ship it... They are a good vender.. but if I can save 10 bucks somewhere else.. well.. im gonna do it.

My splash guard is just dumb as hell. I know that is where the water is coming from. It doesn't get soaked by any means, just enough water gets past the filter and gets the MAF wet and bam, car no likie.

Someone on here has to have a dryflow filter or one close to that size with a pre-filter. Help me out!
