AEM UEGO WB or Aeroforce Interceptor Gauge ?
AEM UEGO WB or Aeroforce Interceptor Gauge ?
Hey Guys, If I want to do tuning my car which one is the best to tune with either 1 of those gauge ? AEM UEGO WB or Aeroforce Interceptor Gauge has 15 gauges into 1 but the problems if I want to tune my car I have to take off Aeroforce Interceptor from OBII port that is where Aeroforce Interceptor is connected there. Is there any way around it or not ? And better off getting AEM UEGO WB ? My car is supercharged not turbo. I know turbo already has WB in it but not supercharged.
Op, if you're going to be tuning, you NEED to get a wideband gauge, te stock narrowband sensor is not enough to tune from. The interceptor is a great gauge to have, but you be able to accurately monitor your a/f ratio
I just thought if I get Aeroforce Interceptor Gauge and don't need Wideband but I research about who has Supercharged need to get Wideband and Interceptor to run both. Turbo already has Wideband in it and need just 1 but can have 2 Interceptors.
Can I do that ? Getting Interceptor with Wideband add on ? How can I do that ?

OH! I see what you are talking about. CRAP! They are $189 dollars add on. That is grand total of $400 dollars. DANG IT! ZZP need to make Spring sales or make it into 1 bundle price options.
Yes there is a wideband add on kit but it costs almost as much as the aem gauge does

Get both gauges imo, just take your time and save up. All those extra gauges are nice and all, but most of them you'll never even bother looking at. When I had 2, I kept one setup as a wideband, and the other always stayed on knock and iat2. Never bothered switching because the rest of that info is 99% of the time useless.
I do have coupon code $100 dollars from ZZP and if I get Aeroforce Interceptor and the add on. It'll cost me about $300 dollars but I will be having whole infos in 1 gauge. I will be using it and switching many different infos.
I'm not sure on accuracy of the wideband, but my gauges always worked every time. I never had an issue with them. As far as te interceptor itself and not the add on, it reads straight from the ecu, so it's always accurate. I know aem gauges are very well known for their reliability
Yes on the interceptor you can view any 2 of the parameters at any time. IMO you should get the interceptor and a separate wideband. I had the add on for a while and it worked, however whenever you go to do tuning and unplug your interceptor, then you can't read a/f ratio anymore which is a pain. Save up for both the interceptor and aem wideband and you won't be disappointed. Also you can find the aem cheaper on ebay
