Aeroforce Help

I installed my Interceptor gauge today and did a few runs with it. My IAT1 is at 78 and IAT2 is at 98 when im cruising at 60 or so. Horsepower was at about 220. Im in illinois where the elevation is only like 600 ft. All I have for mods is Injen intake, magnaflow exhaust and CXracing heat exchanger. Does this all make sense? How accurate is this gauge at my current settings? I get my stage 2 installed monday so i just want know some baselines. thanks guys.

IAT2s seem pretty good. Cruizing I am about 16-18° over IAT1 and on 3rd gear pulls when it is 75° out I hit about a max of 130 at the end of 3rd.

you cant really go by the HP meter on there...you have to make the HP adjustment per your MAF sensor IIRC...hell, mine was saying 292hp at WOT in 3rd gear...

Set your alt to 600 and set your HP Adjustment to .85

That is near spot on for me (the HP Adjustment, not the alt).

If the altitude is entered right for your location, with the right HP Adjustment you would have ~248whp. If your higher then sea level, it will be lower.

My Shift Lights Are Set At 5500 And They Come On. I Would Lower The Setpoint To Make Sure That It Works And You Have To Set Your Datalog To 1 For The Shift Lights To Turn On

I Would Also Like To Know How My Iats Compare To A Cobalt Without A Cxracing Heat Exchanger. They Seemed To Be Good I Thought Considering My Coolant Temp Never Goes Over 185 Unless Im Stopped At A Light For A Long Time.

Your intercooler coolant and engine coolant are separate systems. Don't think because your engine coolant is 185 that effects your IAT2s. Yes, at idle sitting still your IAT2s will be higher. I have a 2.9" pulley with a cobra h/e and I get about 15-20° over IAT2 cruising.

Very easy. Just get a line tap and tap into the stock boost gauge's power, run the interceptor plug wire down the side tucked under the molding, plug it in, screw the gauge pod on, and your done.

So I Should Be Reading My Iat2 20 Degrees Hotter Than Iat1 With My Cxr Heat Exchanger ? So A Iat2 Below 100 Is Pretty Good Or What? What Do Stock Cobalts Read?

I am pretty much stock and I usually read a 20 degree difference between IAT's.

The difference while cruising isn't what you want to look at. It is during WOT runs.
