afr and a guage
afr and a guage
Ok so does the aeroforce interceptor show you afr? also what is a good afr reading? like below or above what number? im not really familiar with it but im gettin the ott stage 1 and meth so i want to know what i should be at incase i blow a fuse or i run out of meth i can tell by the guage....if the interceptor wont then i will just get an aem wideband. im open to better suggestions though. Knowledge is power
Interceptor will not.
you can get a wideband controller, which that will read through the interceptor, but the interceptor will not read afr itself. (it reads commanded AFR, not actual).
If you had meth and got a tune for it, and you ran out, you would start running lean.
low 11's is a good start for AFR.

so its better to get a wideband then?
yea thats what i read is that it would lean out...so thats why i want the afr guage just to keep an eye on it..
and ok so low 11s...is it bad if i go higher than that or lower than that..?

Lower is safer than higher (to a certain extent).
Higher normally yields more power. (to a certain extent)
Its okay if you hit the low tens, or mid 12s as long as when you notice it, you back down..
