Ah! Bypass Valve Leak/ Solution?

so i finally got my 2.8"pulley installed along with my 50lb injectors. everything is good but my boost. it appears that ive fall victim to the 5500+k boost leak. the guys at CA were really helpful trying to find out why im leaking. and after a couple trial and errors its seems to be the bypass valve. after running it without the vacuum line i was hitting 18+psi so the verdict was to buy a new bypass valve but i heard GM doesnt sell them seperately?

some help guys

ill upload some pics and what not later on from today.

i bet you can only get it with the "supercharger assembly" or the "intake manifold assembly"

you can set the stop for the valve.. let it close, then back it out 1/4 turn so it doesnt bind

its just a butterfly valve and will only leak a preset amount, which isnt much in the scheme of things..

Did you take off the pressure side hose to be sure your not opening it with the actuator? At WOT there should be no pressure acting on it and thus the internal spring will keep it shut.

Is your air filter clogged up? if so you could be pulling some vaccuum and cracking the actuator open.

a good test.. pull both hoses off of the actuator, make a WOT run. Does it still leak?
