Airbox Mod , quick question

will it hurt or help 1/4 mile times ? Also can anyone post a link to a howto? i couldnt find one for the 2.0, thx.

btw still looking for answers about what people used to installed smaller pulleys.

with my airbox mod, my best time was a 14.42. it was my 2nd time at the track so i was new to launching the car. here is a link to what it looks like and how to do it

When I did my air box mod, I based mine off the forum that says "SS/SC Intakes." Take a look at it. All you need is a hack saw and a punch (for the hole to get a screwdriver in to tighten down the filter clamp). I noticed a big difference. I haven't taken it out to the track yet, but my dad has a '06 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP (which has a 5.3L V8 w/ 303hp) and I can now keep up w/ him pretty much after my air box mod. It's well worth the half hour it takes to do it.
