guys i got the AIS stage 1 trunk mount system, and it says to drill and tap into the lower intake manifold. do i have to do this> i thought it ran off vacume up by the actuator valve on the s/c. i really dont wanna drill and tap anything.

 

buy a tb plate tapped 1/8 npt or before tb in the induction inlet hose

 

alright so i already have a zzp tb spacer and it DOES have 2 ports, can i just use the one for the meth nozzel and the other port for the boost port fitting?

 

it may want you to thread the hobbs onto the engine. If it comes with a hose nipple, most any vac line should work

 

nah nose hose nipples, just a brass plug, its short and just threads into something, then has a place to hook up their line on the end.

i think it should work, it would be getting vacume by putting it on the TB spacer along with the meth.

 

Plug it into the TB spacer. That's what it's meant for.

 

get a adapter with a nipple on it and screw it on the hobs switch then tap into the line going to the boost bypass solenoid then screw the meth nozzle into your tb spacer

the switch isent ment to go into the tb spacer

I have the kit set up like this: ... Meth switch is t-ed into the boost bypass line. And its worked fine since day one.. I can get a pic tomorrow during the day if anything .

 

well i got the kit up and running, a pic would help others and i could compare mine to yours.
