Almost at 1500 miles!!???

i am almost at 1500 and i was told i would make full boost at that time. My question is do you feel a difference???? when you hit 1500 does it just reset or do you have to turn the car off first??

The car will make full boost when it is fully broken in, there is no reseting or turning off the car, i didnt notice a difference.

usually goes to 12-13psi when u floor 2ndd gear and take it to redline and shift to 3rd...u should be able to see ur max boost in those 2 gears..u will go to 10psi before 4k and after 5k i beleive boost will rise to ur maxium...thats wat mine does

Hmmmmm

If I remember correctly off the dealer lot it was making its full boost at full throttle high rpms from the get go and we were driving it banging gears full throttle shifts with less than 30 miles on it for 45 minute drive home. After our stage 2 install at 75 miles it was also making its max of 15.5 or so on drive home full throttle high rpms as videotaped here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRh1dZgy4pw

Oh you found the boost switch within the woofer also did ya? LOL

i have been told by someone that i would believe that the boost only goes to 10.5 for the first 2000 miles, then after that it goes up to 12.5. or was it after 1000 miles? well one of the two anyway.

Ok who ever told you, there was a reseting, and turning off the car to reach full boost has downs.

I don't think the computer has any real control over the boost as far as mileage is concerned.

Like someone posted, put your car in 2nd, floor it and take it to redline, and you should see a peak of 12.5. IF you don't, your engine just isn't quite broken in yet; it has nothing to do with the computer or "reseting". After a while everything should settle and you should see a full 12.5 lbs. of boost.

The car SHOULD be making full boost (12.5) right from the get-go, but mine didnt (10psi) until after about 1450mi and maybe coincidentally after my first hard launch. To be honest I dont remember the first time it went to 12.5, but I did notice a difference in power.

EVeryone seems to forget the boost gauge in the car is not all that great but if you're worried then take it to the dealer.

No but last time I had someone trade in a 1 year old car with 80k miles on it, and I asked him if he paid people to drive it while he was sleeping.
